Fire as method. The Mediterranean as larder.
At Oro Negro, fire is not a technique but the foundation. Charcoal is what takes good Mediterranean produce (meat chosen by the cut, fish from the market, vegetables from the garden) and returns it deeper, truer to itself.
The name holds the idea. We call something gold when it can transform whatever it touches, and ours is black. It sears, it smokes, and it draws out a flavour that no gentler method can reach.
Behind every plate is honest work, and hands unafraid of getting dirty. Good produce, live fire, and a kitchen that cares how it turns out.

No nos buscábamos, y aun así sabíamos que íbamos a encontrarnos.

The Meat
At Oro Negro we treat meat as living matter. Cuts chosen with care, aged with patience, then handed to the charcoal until they reach their exact point: a sealed crust from the fire, a clean, true flavour within.
It is not technique alone; it is method. The coals set the pace, and we listen. Cut by cut, only what is needed so each piece speaks for itself.
Groups & events
Oro Negro is well suited to a gathering: group meals, celebrations, company dinners and Christmas, in the centre of Fuengirola. Long tables, live fire, and a cellar to match.
